Makana Protest Song "We are the Many Not the Few"
Finally a great protest song, performed as a surprise for the delegates at an APEC dinner, in Hawaii on the weekend. Way to go, Makana!
This is a video of the song.

hi veggie, and thanks for stopping by my blog. ;D
http://www.purlbee.com/granny-square-slippers/
that link ought to help with the slipper issue, i just made mine larger and tossed them in the washing machine, hoping for the best. untreated wool usually felts to about -40% and i got lucky with mine, perfect fit.
that's a great song, by the way, and a very charismatic performer.
i'm still in ireland, and will be for a couple months more. a friend of mine studies permaculture here, i'm just a blow-in and a wanderer.
sylvi,
Thanks so much for the slipper links. I checked them out and am now in the process of reviving my crochet skills so I can make them. So far I made a nice practice dishcloth, and repaired my Mom's granny square afghan. See what you inspired?
Makana has great talent as a guitarist, too. He's a slack guitar master and also performs a lot of traditional Hawaiian music. If you want you can see some of it on youtube.
Permaculture! What a beautiful place for a sojourn. I sure hope it is healing and fun for you. Keep taking lots of breathtaking photos.
Thanks again,
:)
