A gluten-free, dairy-free vegetarian Nova Scotian with some borrowed Japanese spirit (I lived there for 9 years) combining my love of tasty food and teaching to try to encourage you to cook and bake food that will make you healthy and happy, while being kinder to the planet.
Recently I've added articles and links on human rights, free speech and access to information. Some may call it political but I think what we don't know can hurt us.

All recipes (except an early one, for bruschetta) are gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free, but occasionally use small amounts of cheese or organic eggs. When cheese is used I try to offer non-dairy alternatives or suggestions. I try to include vegan recipes regularly.
